When grey obliterates green, trees are the losers

I am pleased to share an article I wrote for NewsWest--the non-profit community newspaper that serves Kitchissippi ward.

It's a personal story that chronicles my observations of how a particular maple tree on the municipal right-of-way has suffered severe damage, despite a by-law that is aimed at protecting trees on municipal lands.
