Green on urban streets adds to human lifespan

Results from a Canadian study show that people live longer when they are surrounded by urban trees and greenery. 


The study... highlights that the way we design our communities can have a profound influence on residents' health: "The potential reach is huge in terms of the number of people who could be benefiting from these health effects."
